If you are looking for somewhere to explore the Christian faith, somewhere to make new friends, somewhere to feel like you belong, you will receive a warm welcome at St George’s Church.
There might be a folk band, a jazz pianist, guitars or a traditional organ leading the worship. Who knows! There might be children dancing and waving streamers (and adults for that matter!) Apart from 3rd Sundays at 10am when it’s Cafe Church, there will almost certainly be Holy Communion as this is at the heart of who we are. At the heart of us is Jesus. Jesus is at the centre of everything we do and so we worship in the round with Jesus in our midst (and quite often a few toddlers too!)
On 3rd Sundays at 6.30pm we also have a Celtic Holy Communion with folk music, pottery chalice, real bread and a reflection rather than a sermon.
