Epiphany Music

Reflective Improvisations

Epiphany Music is an adaptable music ensemble of professional musicians offering creative musical events with an emphasis on improvisation and innovation.  We are pleased to be able to share their visualisations with you.

They are based on spontaneous improvisations performed live by six musicians at Wells Cathedral Chapter House: Richard Williamson (viola), Dave Hart (flute), Linda Entwistle (keyboard/vocals), Jo Garcia (cello), Nigel Cameron (Irish whistles/percussion) and Julie Cameron-Hall (violin).

In the midst of the huge challenge of coronavirus, here’s a ‘Blessing’ from Epiphany Music. We hope this will help you to find hope in the midst of the current crisis.

“The Deeper Magic Before the Dawn of Time”, a Quote from the Narnia story ‘The Lion, The Watch and the Wardrobe’ by C.S. Lewis, the Easter Story Reimagined.

“I Lift my Eyes to the Hills” contains scenes from the Himalayas in Nepal. This video is based on some more spontaneous improvisations performed live by Epiphany in Wells Cathedral Chapter House at the end of January 2020. The ambient sound is the natural acoustic of the Chapter House.
