For information on services visit our ‘Services‘ page or our Events. We offer Sunday Worship, Midweek Communion, Cafe Church and a Celtic Service. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in music!

Children’s Worship is an opportunity for the younger people in our church to explore God and faith each week.

Children and Young People

St George’s Church of England School is a St George’s School is a multicultural friendly and welcoming school and very important part of the mission of the Church. Open the Book teaches the Bible through drama.

In addition to Children’s Worship, Noah’s Ark is a pre-school group that meets once a month. Messy Church takes place every few months and is fantastic for all the family.

Serving the Community

Christian Mindfulness and Quiet Garden Retreats offer oases for contemplation and reflection.

For an innovative initiative, come to Kingdom Arts which supports faith through creativity.

Saint George’s Mother’s Union meets regularly and is an opportunity to meet with friends and explore new concepts and ideas.

There are also groups that provide music for communities who are less able to attend St George’s, such as Open the Book and The Whinston Court Ministry.

Supporting Services

Both the Altar Guild and the Flower Guild ensure that the church comes alive all year around.

Saint George’s website offers resources and we would like to take the opportunity to invite you to visit the church and the church garden, which is a wonderful resource.

What do you like about St George’s?

St George’s felt like home straight away. There is a genuine sense of inclusivity and kindness and on a level we’ve never experienced before, with prayer, humility and love of Christ underpinning all they do. Amanda
