Welcome to the new Bishop of Dudley

BISHOP OF DUDLEY
Graham Usher is being consecrated Bishop in St Paul’s Cathedral on the Feast of the Annunciation of our Lord on Tuesday 25th March in St Paul’s Cathedral.
Bishop Graham (as he will then be) will be welcomed in the Diocese:
At Eucharist at 4.00 pm on Saturday 3rd May at St Thomas’ Church, Dudley
At Evensong at 4.00 pm on Sunday 4th May in Worcester Cathedral when he will be installed as an Honorary Canon.
Bishop John hopes that a good number of people from each parish will be able to come to these services in order to make them a really memorable welcome for Bishop Graham.
Bishop John asks that in the meantime we pray for Graham, for his wife, Rachel, and their children Chad and Olivia.

Thank you Lily!

Open the Book recently said ‘Thank You’ to Lily Hepworth who has now retired from the team. The school children also made their own presentation to Lily. Ann and Colin Beevers will also be retiring from the team at the end of this term so we are looking to replace at least three team-members and to welcome anyone else who would like to share in this important outreach work. We rehearse at 2pm on alternate Monday afternoons taking our play into School the following Monday afternoon. Please speak to Pearl Capewell who will be pleased to provide more information.
