Messy Church is fun for all the family! The next one is on Saturday 12th April and it starts at 10.30. Come along for a creative time to explore the biblical theme through getting messy; a short celebration time involving story, prayer, song, and games; and a sit-down meal together.
Messy Church is a form of church for children and adults of all ages that involves creativity, celebration and hospitality. It meets at a time that suits people who don’t already belong to church.
Messy church is a fun activity for all the family where there is a story from the Bible. First you do some activities about that subject so if it’s Easter we might: make hot cross buns, egg cress heads or chocolate nests, sew leather purses, make and decorate chalices and other crafts too. After that we go into church and have an Easter egg hunt. Then we talk about the story, how we would feel if we were those people, sing some songs and then share lunch. Sophie aged 8.

We rehearse at 2pm on alternate Monday afternoons taking our play into School the following Monday afternoon. Please speak to Pearl Capewell who will be pleased to provide more information.
