This evening there will be a Ceilidh in the Church. With Elisabeth Witter as Caller and a fabulous folk band. If you’ve never been to a Ceilidh before, think Barn Dance and think ‘all ages’. Even little ones can join in, as well as not so little ones, slightly more mature ones, and the very wise ones! Even teenagers will join in so it’s a wonderful family event. And those who can’t join in or who prefer not to, will enjoy watching the fun and laughing when it all goes wrong! The more the merrier there is no limit.
The tickets are £3 each, or £6 for a family, and we invite everyone to bring one item of food that can be shared, for example a bowl of salad, a plate of sandwiches, a quiche or pizza, cold meats or cheeses. Or a cake or dessert.
There is a licensed bar with beer, lager, wine, even Gin & Tonic, as well as soft drinks. The Ceilidh is a well loved event in Saint George’s social calendar. Why watch Strictly when you can come and dance for real yourself!
