“The Friends of Saint George’s Church invite you to another of their popular Autumn Quiz Evenings on Saturday 20th October, 7 for 7.30 prompt, in the Magdalene Room at the side of Saint George’s. All are welcome. Tickets are £7.50 per adult, £2.00 children under 12, to include a two course hot supper. There will be a licensed bar. Exploring Faith through Creativity

Our new Term begins on TUESDAY SEPT 11th.
Everyone is so very welcome to join us as we look to express faith through creativity. We gather at 9.30 am for coffee followed by worship and a bible reading on a theme. This is followed by activities using paint, clay, modelling wood,creative writing,needlecrafts etc. The morning ends with a fellowship meal of soup and rolls.

We have produced a book of photographs of the Exhibition we held this May. Do go and look at our book on the table at the back of church to see some of the art work we have produced. You will be amazed!

QUIET GARDEN AFTERNOON Friday 29 June The theme will be A Gift from the Sea. We start at 12.30pm with soup and a roll and finish at 3pm after tea and cake. All are welcome. There is no charge but a minimum donation of £3 is much appreciated. Any

CHRISTIAN AID AT ST GEORGE’S – A STRAWBERRY TEA IN JUNE Our big fundraiser at St George’s for Christian Aid is on Sunday 24 June, 4 – 6 p.m. There will be strawberries and cream, scones and cakes, plus lovely live music from Five for Silver folk band. Please come and bring your friends and family.
